Julius Olaoluwa’s lifeline for widows
On a groundbreaking mission to uplift widows and make a lasting impact on their lives, Julius Olaoluwa, driven by personal struggles, embarked on an extraordinary journey. Drawing inspiration from his own experiences as a single father, Julius established the Jovilius Heart Foundation, named after his son. This noble organization, headquartered in the United Kingdom and registered in the United States, United Kingdom, and Nigeria, aims to provide support to widows and the less fortunate, ensuring that children raised solely by their mothers can access the fundamental necessities of life and embrace a brighter future.
Widows in Nigeria face a multitude of challenges, but Jovilius Heart Foundation is confronting these obstacles head-on. Their tireless efforts encompass educational assistance and the provision of essential resources for widows and their children. Recognizing the transformative power of education in shaping young minds and nurturing future leaders, Julius and his dedicated team prioritize ensuring that these children have access to quality education. Through carefully selected scholarships, the financial burden on widows is alleviated, while their children are given an opportunity to thrive.

Reeling out some of the activities of the foundation, he said, “The foundation supports widows by providing them with resources to take care of their children. We place some of their children on scholarships, and sometimes donating money and other items to them.
“Recently, we visited my son’s school with the members of the foundation to celebrate his birthday, a tradition that has endured for years. We seized the opportunity to introduce the foundation to the school and explained the inspiration behind our humanitarian efforts. We donated computers to the school, and promised to award scholarships to two orphans.”
